Code of conduct
Six house rules for every guest. You agree to them before you book an event or join a waitlist. They apply at events and in all messages. This is a translation of the German code of conduct. Last updated: 16 October 2026 · Version 2026‑10‑16.
The rules
- Be kind and respectful to everyone in the room.
- Ask before touching, and accept a no straight away.
- No harassment, insults or pressure, in person or in messages.
- Drink responsibly. Your host can ask anyone to leave.
- Keep other guests' details private. No photos of people without asking.
- If you feel unsafe, tell your host or report it in the app.
If something happens
During the event your host is your safety contact. You can take a break, ask for a different group or leave at any time.
Reports in the app reach the MatchQuest team and are handled confidentially. In an emergency call 110 (police) or 112 (ambulance and fire).
If the rules are broken
Anyone who breaks these rules can be asked to leave the event, without a refund. For serious or repeated breaches we can restrict or suspend the account under section 13 of the guest terms. We tell you the reasons.
Languages
This code of conduct is available in German and English. If they differ, the German version applies.
